Scatterboy is the weblog I've written for the past 5+ years. When the site turned five-years-old, I realized two things: 1. this blog thing was maybe not a passing fancy and 2. because this blog thing was maybe not a passing fancy, it was probably time to stop using flat files. So I redesigned the site, designed the CMS and coded the front-end using CSS while my ever-so-talented girlfriend coded the back-end using php/mysql.

And yes, I could have used Movable Type or even the Tripod Blog Builder, but where's the challenge in that?
